Can anyone get any of these lectures to work?--or is it my computer’s problem?

I can't get them to work either. At first, I thought perhaps it was a Firefox problem, but I tried to no avail with IE as well. If anyone knows how to make them work give us an update.

If you have a Mac running OSX, you need to install a program that will play Windows Media files, e.g., Flip4Mac:

I installed Flip4Mac, and I can watch the lectures in Safari.
If you're using Windows and you can't see them in IE, you might be able to open them directly from Windows Media Player using the following urls:
Lecture 1: mms://semiostream.msh-paris.fr/974/stephen_stich_09_05_2007-dsl.wmv
Lecture 2: mms://semiostream.msh-paris.fr/974/stich_11_05_07-dsl.wmv
Lecture 3: mms://semiostream.msh-paris.fr/974/stich_15_05_07-dsl.wmv
Lecture 4: mms://semiostream.msh-paris.fr/974/stich_16_05_07-dsl.wmv
It might help to have the most recent version of Windows Media Player installed. Here's the link:
